This was all about working out the times around the world for family and friends to get in contact with each other.
It’s the precursor site to my other creation SkyWatch, which is more of a weather forecast / time / world clock which gives you a view of different conditions wherever your friends are.
To be honest, this is the first time I’ve even considered a 24hour clock and it’s pretty awesome. I even spent hours looking through the best 24hours clocks to purchase to my wrist … as my brain just got it. Alas, being on this side of the world, there’s not really many watches like this, so I’m going to have to do with a web app instead.
I was inspired by PoleClock, which is a site made by Pascal Pixel, and wanted to make a customised version of it for my friends, grounded by people and not places – although location drives it all really.
Geography for the win!
