Website Development
Outside client work, I've built Roundtable, a facilitation tool for running better workshops, and Even, a scheduling app for couples balancing personal time against shared parenting. Neither of those needed to exist. I built them because I noticed a problem and couldn't leave it alone, the same instinct that led me to build Glacialist.nz, an ongoing public record of glacier change across Aotearoa.
That's the instinct I bring to client sites too. A website isn't a brochure. It's a working piece of infrastructure that should make someone's day easier the moment they land on it, whether that someone is a customer, a donor, or a stranger deciding whether to trust you.
I care less about a site looking impressive in a portfolio and more about whether it actually does its job under pressure, on a bad connection, at the exact moment someone needs it to work.
