- Absolutely loves being in the mountains, being near the mountains, looking at the mountains
- Started running at an early age. Orienteering, cross-country, generally being active outdoors
- Was a member of the British Orienteering Elite Start Squad
- Represented England from a teenager and beyond, racing in the UK, Scandinavia and mainland Europe for DVO, ShUOC and Västerås SOK
- Represented Great Britain at the Junior World Orienteering Championships in Switzerland back in 2005
- Captained the University team, raced mountain marathons and fell races
- Worked for an epic company called planetFear and sold the best outdoor gear in the world
- Learnt a heck of a lot presenting to the board of GO Outdoors as eCommerce manager at the age of 22
- With a young and talented team, grew that small eCom business into a giant in 2 years (fed by their physical store expansion), feeding the UK with top brands for hiking, camping, fishing, climbing, riding, biking, running and festivals
- Flew to Aotearoa New Zealand and did the same post-quakes in Ōtautahi Christchurch for Bivouac Outdoor working alongside Camelbak, GoPro, Arc'Teryx, Outdoor Research, STA Travel, Icebreaker
- Earthquakes happened on February 22nd 2011. 185 lives lost and the city never the same again
- Ran 52 Peaks in 52 Weeks across the mountains of Aotearoa New Zealand - causing a stir in the community and giving myself an escape after the earthquakes
- Spent 10 days in the wilderness to explore the semi-secret ice plateaus of the Gardens of Eden and Allah
- Entered the Banff Film Festival with the 52Peaks film and it got selected for trail running festivals across multiple continents
- Ran with Ryan to break the world record for the Great Walks Challenge
- Pushed the eCom business to be the largest Icebreaker Merino account in the world, before they went offshore and vertical globally
- Travelled to Canada for 6 months and raced some amazing races like Mt Robson Marathon, Grizzly Ultra and picked up a few tips about how to not get eaten by bears in the outdoors
- Moved back to Aotearoa New Zealand and raced some epic races including the Kepler Challenge, Motutapu, Tarawera 50, Mt Oxford Odyssey and more
- Had a passion for the product, so decided to explore how they were made from the primary producers...
- Discovered that the primary sector is a huge corporate machine in New Zealand
- Dug deeper into digital tech products and how big corporate with large saleforces work
- Shifted to work for local government to sell the world's newest and best city (Ōtautahi Christchurch) to the world
- Tricky timing with March 15th and COVID Pandemic slowing down the work we desperately needed to get the city back on the map
- Couldn't stop thinking about the product so worked with one of NZ's best businesses, NZ Merino (now Zentera)
- Kept running and the love for the mountains
- Worked with wool growers and the supply chain to market one of the worst kept secrets of the NZ economy; wool
- Made a fun game based on Wordle, but for the wool industry; Wooldle
- Helped marketing teams at IKEA, Hugo Boss, Icebreaker, John Smedley, Allbirds and others tell the story from farm to store
- Made breakthroughs in NFTs, Blockchain Technologies and chain of custody and implemented systems to support the validity of the material
- Decided that the world didn't need another agency, but needed some positivity and creativity... so started TwoScoops with Shara and Caroline
- Started 26in2026 - another personal challenge and am now thrashing it out day after day
