They show the impact of the introduction of vaccines in the US specifically – but the trands are easy to see and can be cast globally to the impact of the vaccines.
These charts are another reminder about the miracle of the vaccine and science and why they matter in our life and times.
I think my generation doesn’t have the understanding (along with that of TB and the Plague) just how lucky we are and that we’ve been living in a relavitvely pain free and stable time in the world. Yes, I know there are still world problems and issues and hunger and poverty and war and the list goes on – but what we’re not seeing (apart from COVID) is the mass wiping out of humans at a large scale. We’ve worked on a solution and administered it around policy and legislation.
